TASS THERMAL AND ACOUSTIC SLAB SYSTEM

TASS is a coffer slab system comprising moulded expanded polystyrene void formers which remain in place to insulate the building and cold rolled steel ribs.

MULTI MODULA RAFT FOUNDATION SYSTEM
Over the past 40 years, the time consuming concept of strip footing as means of foundation was widely considered the preferred method of construction on good quality ground. These outdated construction methods normally takes approximately 10-12 working days from the start of excavation to pouring of surface bed (estimated 250m² floor area).
The MULTI MODULA RAFT FOUNDATION SYSTEM consists of small hollow pods made from recycled polypropylene, packed over a levelled footprint area. Concrete is then poured over them. The method use 47% less concrete and 35% less steel than traditional methods, is easy to implement, and can be used in different soil conditions.
Due to it’s shape and easy assembly large areas can be covered with little manpower. (Estimated 160m² / hour with one person). It is therefore ideal for projects where low skilled labour is used. Multi Modula is the answer for combating the ever-rising costs of construction.
